# Disable Screen Dimming
EpocCam automatically dims your device’s display to save power. If you’d prefer to keep an eye on your video preview at all times, you can now disable this behavior. Just tap the gear icon to enter preferences where you’ll find the new Screen Dimming setting.

Decent App but..
Needs improvement in terms of connection stability with the mac as it keeps loosing the connection. I have personally purchased this app to support the developers and shall recommend this to my fellow mates if this connection issue gets better. Keep up the work. 👍🏼
Could have been 5 stars
This is a really awesome concept. I took the paid version after playing around with the free version (the green icon) for a bit.
But it didn’t work out for me.
1. It’s unpredictable- I use the app on an iPhone SE. The connection keeps breaking. It doesn’t stay on and stream constantly. That’s really annoying. And when it does come back there is no guarantee it will not crash. I have ensured I keep my auto lock disabled and ensure no other app is running in the background etc. etc.
2. My PC started blue screening (BSOD) something whose existence I had almost forgotten. I use a windows 10 laptop. Yesterday I had an event that I was to live stream - the primary reason for taking the paid version - and my PC got BSOD the moment I connected and turned it on. Eventually I had to ditch the idea and connect a very old low res webcam.
Unless these issues are fixed for good and drivers made robust, this is merely a demonstration of possibilities and not a dependable solution.
I am also raising a support ticket now. Let’s see what resolution I get.
MacBook or iMac Users don’t Purchase this app
I was facing trouble with my MacBook Camera so needed alternative webcam to use it with my WebX but this app won’t support because Apple do not accept third party applications. I downloaded it also you won’t get a refund for this Application via Apple coz this was not support in India.
This App work best with windows Computer no trouble. Windows users can definitely purchase this app as it has amazing quality for video conferencing.
MacBook users don’t even think of purchasing this app.
