Login page irritating
An app that doesn’t even work
It is good to see Small Finance banks step up. However, it is also apparent that their management isn’t the best at decision making. Equitas is probably blowing all their money on sponsorships because it seems they don’t have much to spend on technology. The app simply crashes on launch nearly every time if you disable notifications rendering it absolutely pointless. I am forced to login through Safari mobile browser and use their website which is anything but progressive considering how things are formatted on the small screen. Whenever I tried to avail of video assistance, it would fail most of the times to even log a request. That they rely on third party apps for UPI is still fine as it works but basically expecting your customers to avail of banking using only something like Google Pay is so regressive. I also have an account with Au Small Finance bank and at least they have put some effort on their apps and service. Equitas simply has a long way to go. While I would use the bank account only because of interest rates, I will absolutely not put in any amount higher than the 5 lakhs covered by insurance since it is difficult to trust a bank that is so poorly managed.
Needs a lot of improvements
First of all user experience of this app is really bad. Every time I tries to login I got error and than at second time I was able to login. Even some of the key features are not available in this app like any utility bill payment, ticket booking. I am not complaining about the ticket booking I can manage without but UI is not upto the mark. It’s ok ok. One of the worst thing is when someone transfers the amount to my account and it never shows on time current data. Amount never refresh even if i goto different page and then come back again. I need to logout and then log in to see the accurate data. This is seriously needs to fix. Otherwise app features are good and like have all the options but not lacking performance and user interface because I have used AU and IDFC bank’s app and they all are small finance banks but its current state it can not beat those apps. Other things are good able to make fund transfer and check card status.
