What’s New

Version 10.25.6

- You can now assign tasks to anyone with an email address—even if they're not an Evernote customer. They'll see them on a special web page where they can mark (and unmark them) as complete without having to create an account.
- We're pretty proud of the background images we provided for Home (after all, we took those photos ourselves!). But you might prefer to see more widgets and not have a background image instead. Now the choice is yours when you click Customize.

- We tweaked some things so the app now runs more efficiently. That means your computer's CPU doesn't have to work as hard, and isn't that everyone's goal?
- If you joined a notebook, left it, then tried to rejoin the same notebook, the app would say it couldn’t find it. But now it should be smooth sailing.

Tried and Tested App

I remember using the app as far back as 2012. During, my years I have tried- Onenote, Zoho Notes, Bear(Mac only) and I can safely say the Evernote is the better of the above mentioned apps especially on Mac. The app had become a lot cluttered over the years but the new design language has made a much better app and I have returned back to it finally. I am using it as of now and plan to use it in future as well. Though, the support for the plus version could use a bit of upgrade especially in a price sensitive market like India as the due to the different time zone issue my mails are answered generally with considerable delay.

One of the best notes app for mutiple platforms

I am using this app on ios, mac, andriod, windows web browser and this app no where disappoints. This means your notes will remain with you no matter what.

My rating will convert to a 5 if the dev team will add an option to hide the app from dock as I already have it in the menu bar

Refreshing to see new development

EN has been with me since 2014 as standard free user. In the last 3 yrs i had moved away from it towards newer options. With the new codebase and development, I have returned and am really enjoying the experience. So much so that I have upgrade to premium user.
I am hopeful that the team would take into account some of the new age features which have become more or less standard in a note taking app - markdown , backlinks and if possible develop a graph view of the notes.
Wishing the team the very best.
