Hi Jayesh, thanks for taking time out in your day to leave us a review. It’s always helpful to early stage startups to receive feedback - so genuinely thank you.

In order to experience Favs you’ve got to add people, otherwise of course there is nothing much to do.

Unlike other apps, we wanted to ensure those who got early access could explore the app, see what it’s about, see how it’s bug free and doesn’t store your data - which is why we didn’t do invite-lock (force you to add 5-6 people upon installation).

You’re sitting in a car without gas at the moment.

Secondly, we too use Instagram and so we appreciate the humbling comparison. However, Instagram is great for meeting new people, seeing viral content, following influencers, learning about new products, and coming across friends updates.

On the other hand, we have an ambition to create a more tailored experience that people have been asking for. And that is based on the premise that people only want close friends updates without all the explore content and noise. So none of the important stuff is missed.

Finally, we have some core features you didn’t get to experience that IG doesn’t have because you didn’t add anyone:
1. Tap a button to say you’re free and all friends get notified instantly. Our goal is to get users off the app and on a call asap.
2. Drop a pin and let friends know when you’re nearby at a coffee shop or bar, and friends in the local area will get pinged to join.

Most social app optimize for screen time. We’re optimizing for face time.

We hope you’ll give it a shot again and add some folks.

PS. Design is subjective, but we like the design choice. Happy users have been saying it looks like something that came with Apple, and that’s the best compliment we could hope for.
