Great app, but needs some urgent fixes

I love Fitbod. It’s absolutely brilliant. The generated workouts are on point, and I’ve gained a ton of strength and lost a lot of body fat thanks to Fitbod.

But there are some really annoying bugs and missing features, which I hope the devs fix:

1) Apple Watch workout doesn’t start automatically like it does with every other app I use.
2) heart rate recovery isn’t being tracked when the workout finishes. I get one or two readings after the workout is over, but not upto the +2 mins point that is shown in apple health and apple fitness
3) equipment weights are fixed. I have adjustable dumbells with esoteric weights, the only way to include these is to round up or down. I should be able to use custom weights
4) there is no way to prefer certain equipment. For example I prefer kettlebell exercises as the movement is more complex compared to dumbbells but I have to manually change this every time. There should be an option to favourite certain equipment and exercises so they appear more often in the workouts.

Fitbod: The Ultimate Fitness Coach

Thanks to Fitbod, I was able to stay on track with my fitness goals even while traveling across the country last year. What sets Fitbod apart is its ability to create individual gym profiles based on the available equipment, which has been a game-changer for me when I'm on the go. Overall, I highly recommend Fitbod to anyone looking for a personalized, flexible fitness coach that can keep up with their busy lifestyle.

Fitbod is a really good app!

Hi devs, I don’t know if you’re reading this, I have raised these concerns via in app customer support as well.

The app is really really good at what it does.

However, there’s a few key UI/UX shortcomings.

1. No dark mode support for the widget. Come on, it’s 2021. 😅

2. Not being able to change the default start of the week day. This would really enhance the experience for people trying to keep up their weekly goals. Not everyone’s week starts on the same day. Sometime’s the country default is a Sunday and we might want to start the week on a Monday!

3. When working out in a superset, the exertion rating is only asked for the last exercise in the superset. You have to manually go to the previously completed exercises in the superset and add add the exertion rating for them.

4. Apple Watch doesn’t automatically start the workout when the workout is started on iPhone. This is something I have seen Strong (another great workout app) implement very well.
