Fridge Buddy helps you reduce your food waste by alerting you when one of your products is nearing its expiration date.

Food waste is a bigger problem than people think, nearly one-third of all food produced in the world is wasted. Although these numbers may seems overwhelming, Fridge buddy can help you reduce this harmful practice.

All you need to do is scan the barcode for your different items in your fridge, freezer or pantry. Fridge Buddy is responsible for retrieving the information related to this products, the name and the photo. You can then indicate the expiration date if necessary.

For all the products that don’t have barcode, you can enter manually the product information and picture.

A few days (customizable interval) before the expiration date, you will receive a notification reminding you to consume this product.

• Unlimited number of items tracked
• Notification for each item tracked approaching its expiration date
• All your tracked products synced across your devices with iCloud
• Widget available for the today view, that displays products with near expiration date
• Custom lists of items in addition to the default lists (refrigerator, pantry)
• Food Waste ratio, you can view and track the ratio of consumed / trashed items month by month
• Export your lists / products to as CSV file
• Scan product from the quick action available
• Custom products sorting
