Trip to srilanka
This was a sudden trip and we decided to go with Get your Guide , 3 nights tour package with Serendipity tours . Our tour guide Mr Ananda Bandaras was really good and made us feel like home!! They also added and got us another activity as per our request. On the whole this package is a good one for a short trip!
Would definitely recommend for tourists.
I recently took a trip to Greece and this app came in handy most of the times. I made most of my trip activity bookings through the app and none of them were a disappointment. I was a little skeptical after reading the mixed reviews for the app since I was doing all the planning myself, but after my experience, I’d definitely recommend tourists making their own bookings or if you just want to randomly try an activity during your visit. It’s important to note that they are service providers and not a tour guide company. After the booking you are put in touch with your particular activity provider and all details are sent on the app as well as your email. Definitely value for money! Looking forward to using it for my future trips!
Insensitive to customer and encourages fraudulent behaviour !
I wouldn’t recommend get your guide - this is the second time we have used them.
First time experience in Europe was good. Second time in Singapore with their provider cebu tours and travels messed up our vacation -
1. We had to leave part of the family as they didn’t send all tickets
2. They were not responsive when we raised the issue with them on the day of universal studios. Rather than get into universal studios, we had to wait outside and chat/ mail and make international calls to try to get the ticket. Finally at 13:15, after chat agent and we discussed that it is too late to wait for response - we split the family and few of us went it. Chat agent committed to getting refund as alternative.
3. At 13:30, apparently the ticket was sent to us. We couldn’t use it as group split and moved on. Meanwhile ones who went in had limited time to do the rides, thanks to this massive delay.
4. All in all, terrible experience, waste of money and time.
5. They didn’t refund tickets stating tickets were sent despite their agent confirming we didn’t get the right tickets. They do not honour their commitment to customers and are very insensitive to customer experience.
Recommend reaching out directly to universal studios rather than get your guide !
