Welcome to version 4.5 of the Gideons Bible App!
The app was fully updated to match the latest tech updates!
* Enjoy the new search functionality that allows you to search by a specific Chapter and verse!
* On the Search screen under the My Bible section, you can look for a specific chapter/verse, using the notation BookName Chapter:Verse, like: “Matthew 1:2”.
* It’s also possible to list the entire chapter by hiding the verse number on the search entry, like: “Matthew 1".
We also made several adjustments and fixes to improve your user experience inside the app:
* All third-party libraries were updated providing more stability and increasing load speed on the whole app.
* Now the plans are being synced between multiple devices, allowing your progress to be accessible everywhere from different devices.
* The search feature was enhanced to allow users to search by Chapter and Verse.
* The search results were updated to follow the Bible book order.
* The country dropdown under the My Account screen has been rebuilt to allow country search and improve the selection behavior.

True to its goal, Gideons continues to reach millions through scripture distribution which was primarily through hard copies of the bible. In this new age, I am glad Gideons' digital version of the bible will continue to make it lot more accessible, especially in regular countries where scripture distribution is prohibited. Two options in menu, "Help in time of need" and "help with life's problem" are a great source of encouragement and hope for all. This bible app is by far the best! Did not know audio bible was one of the feature until a friend showed it and dint stop using the feature since then :) May the lord bless the ministry!

App quality has deteriorated especially regarding audio. I have Re installed 4 times after the recent updated App
Why does the audio stop after each chapter ?
Would give a 5 star if the audio feature was continuous and didn’t stop after each chapter - I like to listen to the audio bible while I sleep but because the audio stops after each chapter, I need to keep switching it on. Please do fix this.
