App is good, support and documentation are poor

Considering only the app, it is pretty good except for some few bugs
I use it for making all the logos and and images required in the app.
I bought this app last year. Since then I have only received one update.

Overall Support and documentation are very very bad. They hardly reply to emails.

seems good

for many years i had been using Coreldraw, but iDraw is equivalent to it. not a advanced user, but does many jobs for me.

Nice and easy illustrator substitute, well almost

I bought it to substitute illustrator which I use for scientific drawing meant for publishing. Compared to illustrator it does most of the things that I need (almost) in the same way that illustrator does with some added benefits. Benefits: no monthly payment, small size (~20 Mb vs ~1GB), fast, a nice template customizable template section, nice and easy interface. Unfortunately lack of few things here and there is still forcing me to use illustrator. Examples: No superscript/subscript in the text tool, Option to set 0.5/0.75 point stroke thickness is present but not working below 1 point, selective selection by colour/stroke width on imported EPS files does not behave predictably as in illustrator, texts in imported plots etc does not retain editable as text. Thus while it is a cheap, functional, superfast vector drawing/editing software and almost meets the need of illustrator for those purposes, few more addition and corrections will make it useful for serious purpose. A note to developers, focus on the essential functionality in the update (text tools etc) rather than continuity, iCloud integration. Those things are not dealmakers and does not work reliably on most of the current and recent past machines in any case.
