Ground News is the world’s first news comparison platform that will help voters make better-informed decisions, drawing from more than 40,000 news sources worldwide and featuring an average of 30,000 news stories per day.
Also, included in the Mac app is our new Safari extension. Try out Ground News Bias Checker for Safari. Whenever you read a news article, our browser extension will show you who else is covering the same news story and compare how other sources from all across the political spectrum are reporting on it.
About Ground News subscriptions purchased within the Ground News app:
• Subscription renews annually, and you'll be able to manage this subscription in your App Store account under the 'Ground News' subscription
• Payment will be charged to your App Store Account on confirmation of purchase
• Your membership subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period
• Membership subscriptions can be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after purchase

A must-have if you want to form opinions
I cannot stress how necessary this app is if you truly want to have an informed opinion in today’s world. No other app I’ve used has the UI and support this one does.

I like the concept, but the app design and UI is really poor
The app has multiple issues in terms of UI and bugs not being fixed:
1. I can't seem to follow topics
2. It takes ages without any visual/haptic feedback that I've clicked on a search term, yet it doesn't load for ages
3. The default UI is designed for readers of US news and politics, however, given that it's a news reader, it would be nice to customise topics I follow by region
UI needs to be fixed
This is a great app. This has replaced Google news for me. But as other users point out the UI is buggy. For example sometimes, stories load multiple times, on double-clicking, but that seemed intuitive since single click only selects the story.
