Everytime update required when app open

Dear team
I would like to bring notice in your knowledge that after updating.. whenever i tried to open the app it required app update.. how many times i have to update this app. Is this necessary to update the app when we need to access the app.

Pathetic app, pathetic attempt by company to lock customers into app only

I don't understand why HDFC is forcing customers to use this crashing, unintuitive and difficult to use app and closed their website for similar use! Apollo Munich had an excellent website where I could renew, find information etc for my insurance needs very easily but now HDFC, after they took over Apollo Munich, does not allow for any of that on their website and instead forces their customers to download this useless app. HDFC, please learn from Flipkart’s mistake. Please give your customers the choice of using a fully functioning website and don't force us to use this intrusive and time wasting app. I’ll be renewing with a different insurance provider next year.

Pathetic Apps ...just sweat you to login

Very frustrating apps... I am continuously getting problem during loggin the apps. Every time I logged in , in few seconds was kicked out of the app. Further upon login it is not showing my policy details and others. From the very first day the app is not working properly.
Upon writing to customerservice@hdfcergo they are asking for the policy no. ... They r not even trace the policy no with my registered email and mobile no which is already provided. Hell will only rescue the customer support of the company. Apollo Munich was good. But HDFC ergo is giving lots of pain.
