Edit many tracks side-by-side, mix them together, and export to popular audio formats — then transfer them to your computer, send them to another app on your device, or upload to cloud services.
Hokusai is streamlined to give you a clean, clear view of your tracks. Use the familiar pinch and swipe gestures to zoom right in and fiddle with fine detail, or step back to see the big picture. Select pieces of audio. Live "scrubbing" means you can hear the sound under your fingertip as you make your adjustments. And you needn't fear a bad edit with full undo/redo support — even after closing your project.
Hokusai includes a set of useful tools for free, such as fade in/out, normalise volume levels, reverse time, and basic synthesis. If you need more power, Hokusai 3 Pro adds more than 50 new tools and effects, including: Multi-microphone recording, per-track volume/panning, solo/mute, track and final mix level meters, time ruler markers and tempo-based time rulers, selecting across multiple tracks at once, presets and favourites, 48kHz project support, and additional export features — like creating MP3s, or splitting a project up by tracks or markers.
Effects include noise reduction, time-stretching, pitch-bending, echo, reverb, grain synthesis, modulation (AM & FM), resonance, distortion, grunge, vocal levelling, monster voice, high/low/band-pass/notch-cut filter, multi-band EQ and more — many of which can be previewed live. And you can sync your effect settings and favourites through iCloud for quick access from any of your devices.
Projects can also be synced through iCloud, and are compatible with Hokusai for Mac. Whether you want to take your Mac projects with you, or make field recordings as you travel, to be available on your computer at home, Hokusai has you covered.

Update: Thank you for your kind response. I didn’t realise that Hokusai is a different kind of editor. I will try Ferrite and share my thoughts there.——————I purchased the Pro Pack hoping to use Hokusai as a mobile alternative to Adobe Audition for editing audio on the go. I've enjoyed using the app, but there are two limitations that have made it difficult for me to fully incorporate it into my workflow:1. Audio clips cannot be freely dragged and repositioned on the timeline. The only workaround I've found is adding silence to create spacing, which is cumbersome and time-consuming.2. It’s missing volume envelopes. For working on the go, I don’t care for advanced automation features. But volume envelopes is indispensable. I would be very grateful if you could consider adding these features in a future update. Since I've already invested in the Pro Pack, I'd love to make Hokusai a bigger part of my audio-editing workflow.Thank you.

Hello! It sounds like you’re looking for a very different kind of audio editor to Hokusai. Fortunately, we make one of those too! It’s called Ferrite Recording Studio, it supports moving clips around on a timeline and volume automation envelopes and many other features, and you can find it in the App Store. There’s also a comparison guide on our website, to help figure out which of Hokusai and Ferrite is right for you. Hope that helps!

I found the app to be really useful for my purpose.. i was able to get a lot of work done... and i can guess the pro version would be a lot more fun to work with..I really recommend this app.. to anyone trying to edit musicCheers
