ICICI Prudential Life App 4+

App does not show the premium paid status in the most updated manner. E.g Premium paid for the current month is not reflected. It still shows the due date which should be updated in case it’s paid for. ECS is still debited even if premium is paid via credit card. Not user friendly process. It takes ages to get back your advance premium refund in case of double payment. Processes are outdated and seriously need to be lean. User interface is average.

I’ve been using the ICICI Prudential Life Insurance App for a few months now, and overall, it’s a very efficient and user-friendly term life insurance app. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, making it simple to manage my life insurance policies on the go.

Here are a few key points I’d like to highlight:

Policy Management: The app allows me to view all my policies in one place. I can track premium payments, download receipts, and even update my personal information without any hassle.

Payment Reminders and Ease of Payment: The app sends timely reminders for premium payments, which is really helpful. Plus, the payment process is smooth with multiple payment options available, ensuring I never miss a due date.

Customer Support: The in-app customer support is responsive. I was able to resolve a few queries about my policy details quickly via the chat feature.

Claims and Services: The app offers easy access to claim-related information, which adds a lot of transparency. Although I haven’t used the claims feature yet, it’s reassuring to see that the app guides you through the process.

Performance: Occasionally, the app feels a bit slow when loading documents or policy details. However, it's not a frequent issue and doesn’t greatly impact usability.

Overall, it’s a reliable app for managing life insurance needs with minimal effort. With a few minor improvements, it could be a 5-star experience!

Suppose I pay premium now the app wont update the payment status immediately. Even for days the status wont refresh. This made me think that my premium is due and perforce two payments were made for one due date. Worst.. there was no refresh that I could realise that double payment has been made. Thank God i called their customer care who took sweet long time to find out before which I checked my bank debit entries and realised the double payment.
You shall never receive the call from customer care if you are losing your policy.
You better be tracking in monthly.
I gave second star only because of one reason that there is payment making option. Else it just deserves single.
