CARROT Weather uses auto-renewing subscriptions.

Premium provides additional features like weather data sources, notifications, customization, widgets, and Apple Watch complications.

Premium Ultra includes all the features of Premium, plus rain, lightning, and storm cell notifications (where available), a weather maps widget, and quick data source switching.

Premium Family includes all the features of Premium Ultra, with the added benefit of being shareable with up to five family members via Apple’s Family Sharing service.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase. Cancellation of the current active subscription period is not allowed.

Fall is here, meatbags! While you’ve been busy harvesting your crops to prepare for the onset of nuclear winter, I’ve been hard at work on a big new update to your favorite weather app.

Dark & Tinted App Icons
Customize your Home Screen with dark and tinted variants of many of my 50+ alternate app icons. (I also added tinted mode support for my widgets!)

Control Center
Add shortcuts to your Control Center to quickly launch me to my Weather or Maps tabs.

History Section
Add the new History section to your layout to view temperature and precipitation data for the past 30 days. (Premium Ultra membership required.)

Siri Shortcuts
My existing Siri Shortcuts have all received a redesign and I’ve added several new ones, including one that lets you bring up radar imagery (Premium Ultra membership required for that one). You can also use the new Get Data Point shortcut to pull out information from my Get Weather Data shortcut.

Apple Watch Live Activities
My Live Activities are now available right on your Apple Watch so you can quickly monitor when rain will start or stop. (Premium membership required.)

Awesome App!

This app has features that are delightful. Apart from the forecasting, which is pretty accurate, I’m enjoying the way information is organized, the colors, wisecracks, and going on “missions.” Wonder what they’ll come up with next.

Unfair to paid buyers

I bought this app when it was paid, and now you have changed it to subscription model, adding ugly ads to the interface which can be removed with a subscription model only. This is so wrong for the old loyal customers who already paid a price. If you wanted to limit new premium features to subscribers, that is understandable, however those who have once paid should continue to get the same experience without ad at least. Uninstalling, and do not recommend as the developers are very greedy in many more ways.

Amazing App

This probably is the best weather app I’ve ever used. Carrot AI is hilarious, the interface is very simple and easy to use.

I would definitely go for premium too if it wasn’t so expensive
