iMPC brings the look and feel of the classic Akai Pro MPC to your iPhone. iMPC includes everything you need to create a beat quickly and easily. With features including built-in effects, plus the ability to create new sequences and record and overdub beats, the possibilities are endless. The app’s built-in sampler can record samples three different ways: using the mic on the iPhone, using the line input on the iPhone, or using the multi-touch turntable interface in iMPC to record samples directly from iTunes or other music libraries.

Ratings and Reviews
Elegantly designed, feature rich emulation of the original hardware.
If you’re thinking of buying it, just do it, it’s really worth the money.
Pros:
1. A lot of sound packs available for either arranging manually or for using right away through presets.
2. Amazing emulation of the actual hardware. Sampler, effects, recording and sound import included.
3. Sound pack and audio share managed through audio copy.
4. Present configuration, management and customisation.
4. 3d performance possible through hand gestures.
5. Low battery consumption, as opposed to GarageBand, this app costs almost 1/4 of the battery power.
Cons:
1. Steep learning curve, will take some time to get the most out of it.
Manual isn’t much detailed but that doesn’t mean you won’t enjoy and learn it yourself. It will just take a considerable amount of time.
2. Sampling is possible for only songs that aren’t DRM protected, which means you’re out of luck if you want to sample on songs off your iTunes subscription.
3. Buying samples on it isn’t something I really opted for because it appeared a bit shady, I’d rather use what I have available in the app itself.
4. Stems export isn’t available, only song as a whole can be exported. This means that what little mastering tools you have are the only ones you can use for exporting your final mix.
5. Export to cloud services such as MEGA isn’t available.
