Even premium subscription is no ad free.
There are ads almost every five minutes whoch pop up randomly. And they are the same repetitive ads and highly annoying. After the ad comes the app freezes and hangs. So we have to close the app and reopen in. The user interface is not friendly. And even premium subscription does not allow offline downloads. For a hefty subscription fee we can view the hbo originals which have now shifted from hotstar to jio cinema. Keeps force closing and its very annoying. Whats the point of premium subscription if it does not allow an ad free experience or offline downloads which every ott platform gives. I thought ad free experience was included and subscribed to premium. When ads kept coming i emailed jio service to get a reply that premium subscription gives “access” only and no content in jio platform is ad free!!!!
a load of improvements can be made.
First and foremost, the whole point of paying for a premium service is to have no or minimum bloat-ware or bugs. Strangely enough, the premium subscription has ad in it which ruins the user experience and defeats the whole purpose of paying extra. Add HDR playback and/or Dolby Vision/Dolby Atmos support in the playback on an urgent basis as all the other OTT players have this feature. Also, please make the UI of the app and website more subtle and minimal. You can start with changing the colour of the UI from the most disturbing and weird shade of pink ever to something more pleasant and aesthetic. And subtle changes can be made in improving the user experience by distinguishing the premium content from the unpaid content.
Pathetic experience being a Premium user
I recently purchased a premium subscription to Jio Cinema. I was excited to try out all of the features that the premium subscription had to offer, but I was quickly disappointed. The premium user experience is terrible. The app is slow and laggy, and the features are not well-integrated. The UI is also very cluttered and confusing. I found it very difficult to find the features that I was looking for.
I am very disappointed with my experience with Jio Cinema. I would not recommend this app to anyone, especially not to anyone who is considering purchasing a premium subscription.
