Really good app
I really like everything in this app
After the thought of leaving a review came to my mind I also thought that what would make this app better I thought for a long time then I came to know that I would like the noise of the buttons in the app and maybe a vibration because I was struggling a lot and then everything faster now this is all I could think about at-least right now

Need a lot of improvements

I got JioFiber STB yesterday and though to setup remote via JioHome.
1. I dont have Jio sim. I used my registered number (seen in MyJio app and I am getting all SMSes) but it didn't work. But my wife's number worked and she got OTP even when her number is not registered at all.
2. The gaming remote is the worst of all I have seen in my entire life of 30+ years. Common guys, you cannot put Up-Down in Top-Left and Top-Right.
3. Whey isn't there a qwerty keyboard like numberpad. I need to keep the phone on if I reach a text box on TV. If I first go to text box on TV and then start app, it will not work.
4. Look at the Kodi mobile remotes around. They have option of gesture trackpad. That would be awesome to use without even looking at mobile. (let me know if you want the name of the app)
5. A question, media sharing takes good time when video is longer like 5-6min. Does it upload to server and consume bandwidth? Should'nt it just stream from mobile via lan?

Poorly designed app

I downloaded this app thinking that it will be able to airplay music and videos to my Jio Set top box. However after much fideling, I did not find any option to "add" my Jio Set top box. So the primary purpose of the app is defeated. And yes, I took the app tour, it did not show how to add the Jio Set top box.
The music, documents and photos that the app auto discovered were from other apps and not useful, like ringtones and alert tones. There is no option to omit folders.
Coming to media player ability, it failed to play an MKV file. And why would one want Jiohome app when one has quicktime and VLC?

Hello, we desire to build your experience better, please follow below steps to detect your Jio Set Top Box from JioHome, Launch JioPhotos application on your Set Top Box and Right click on any content(Video/Music/photos) on your JioHome app and you will find JioSetTopBox from the list and you can cast the content.
