Whether you’re into bestsellers, romance, thrillers, self-development, or audiobooks for your next run, Kobo’s intuitive app helps you rediscover the joy of storytelling.
Download the Kobo Books App and fall in love with reading all over again. Explore, highlight, review, read and listen your way, with full support for iOS accessibility features.
I ended up downloading Kobo after Flipkart shut down and transferred all my purchased books to Kobo. I liked the fact that it shows the actual number of pages left to read in a chapter, and not kindle’s difficult to track locations. Also, the reader doesn’t end up re-flowing pages once you search for text, which is something the kindle does and is very annoying. The reader mostly stays out of the way and lets you enjoy the book you are reading.
Metaphor Island

One of the few authentic pieces of work on the Nilgiris Eco System. It covers the Montane Shola Grassland complexes in different regions, the forests along the perimeter slopes and the human dominated landscapes in central Nilgiris in detail backed by excellent photographs. The books leaves us with probing questions as well as worrisome conclusions about climate change. Is this the time to act? Read this book, do your research but be part of the conservation network.....that’s critical.
Annotation done very poorly; no way to export markups - Disappointing
S1M1_
Wanted to try out the app since it has support for annotation with the Apple Pencil. The experience was infuriating. If you want to markup something on the page, there’s no easy way to do — you have to tap in just the right place at the top of the screen (twice), then select the markup tool. But then you cannot turn pages in this mode. So you need to switch it off. It gets cumbersome. Also no way to export annotations like on Kindle to save for later. The ONLY way to go back to your annotations is to open the book.

Good to have kobo

KOBO is more costlier than other e-book platform but your dictionary is par excellent and one enjoys finding more thesaurus. Back ground can be adjusted according to ones need and have more soothing effect on eyes. Esoteric books like history of the western philosophy by Russell is not available on other platform(e-book )….regards for the KOBO
