The app does a good job of displaying all the metrics in a very readable manner and a few updates to the graph have been great.

The app is still clunky, takes long time for it to sync with the ring, sometimes breaks down, and because it doesn’t capture any active data during workout, this isn’t a good alternative to other sports devices.

I purchased the Luna ring last month, and within just one month, it has stopped working and is providing incorrect results. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of its performance.

There are no records for Readiness and Sleep, and the heart rate only shows a few results even after wearing it throughout the day and night. The step counts are significantly lower than the actual counts. My Fitbit watch displays different numbers, and the Luna ring consistently shows a much lower distance covered—around 2.75 kms, compared to the actual 7 kms I walk regularly.

We want to assure you that under regular walking or running circumstances, our step count accuracy exceeds 98%, a result validated by esteemed sports institutes like AIW, who have trained Olympic-level athletes. We have meticulously benchmarked our technology against industry gold standards, taking into account various positive test cases while eliminating false detections caused by activities such as random jerks, typing, or driving.
However, we understand that dynamic activities like badminton, involving partial forward and backward steps, frequent jumps, and jerks, present challenges for accurate step counting. We are actively addressing this by refining our algorithms, particularly for scenarios with high hand movements. In fact, we are excited to announce that an upcoming firmware update will specifically target improvements in step-counting accuracy.
