Used this app to make birthday videos for my children, works really well. I inadvertently subscribed the app and the support staff helped me reverse the transaction, very smoothly. I was helped by Yelena, who went all out to understand and address my problem and also guided me towards a swift solution. I recommend this app to all.

This app is such a fraud app. The app does nothing except to violate the privacy and looting the money. I subscribed for this app for professional version as it claimed to provide 7 day free trial as the free version is a joke. It does not have any editing capability. So after subscribing as well, the app did the same thing, broke my video, used templates and trimmed my video and provided a stupid video output. I tried many times and its the same. It charged my credit card even before the trial period ended. I quickly cancelled the subscription in Appstore and wrote an email to Magisto support for a refund. They simply are refusing a refund and asking me to claim with Apple. This is such a joke. They charged my credit card and they should be refunding. Also, they converted my account from professional to basic again(although it does not make any difference). Also, I changed the setting in the app to not to create automatic videos from my photo library. They still access my photo library and creating the movie this morning. There is still no response from the support person. Its a shame they have to earn money from people who try to use their app without providing any service they claim to offer. I have seen many such reviews from people on the same issue. Magisto should immediately refund the money as the app is completely useless and did not provide anything useful. This is going to affect their reputation if any, if they wont refund the money and quit touching my credit card. Its a shame they have to do fraudulent activities to earn money!

This is the worst app ever!!!! Without my knowledge it kept debiting ₹2499 for two months from my account. I never subscribed this app but I did install it and later uninstalled it. But without my knowledge, it debited from my MasterCard. I advise people to be careful and not use this app. The worst part is I took me a while to find from where my money is getting debited. It was not mentioned anywhere that Magisto had an auto active subscription policy. It is a CYBER FRAUD! Worst app, no use! I am going to spread the word in each and every social media platform. BOYCOTT THIS APP. After I realise, I saw the reviews. Hundreds of people have mentioned the same problem from years ago yet they have not taken any step. Refund my amount!! This is no joke.

Thank you for your review. Magisto is a multi-platform service that can be accessed via both mobile devices (iOS, Android) or the web. Therefore, uninstalling or deleting the app will not cancel the subscription and will not stop the recurring payments. As the purchase was made via iTunes it must therefore be cancelled via the Apple ID settings. I downloaded the app, put my bank account details for two weeks of free trial and then 1 month of subscription. After two days I cancelled the subscription from the app. It still deducted my money from the bank account.I was shocked. But still I kept calm and went again to the app to cancel the subscription again. Ideally as it was a subscription for 1 month it should have atleast stopped after the first deduction. But this ridiculous app didn’t stop with it. It kept deducting my money for three comsecutive months. I came to know about this now only.Now they can’t be contacted through any means!GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!!Guys, please boycott this app.
