Description
MitID is your digital ID. You use it when you want to log in, sign digitally and approve actions in various self-service solutions. If you need to approve on your mobile or tablet, you do it with a single swipe in the app. To authenticate on your computer, scan a QR code.
ACTIVATE YOUR MITID
You can activate your MitID in your app by scanning your passport/ID card or with an activation code from Borgerservice. If you have a new mobile, you can copy your MitID from your old app.
IN THE APP YOU CAN ALSO...
Check your user ID and change the mobile number you use for MitID.
HAVE A SPARE MITID
Having an extra MitID is a good idea. If you happen to lose your mobile with the app on it, you can still use MitID.

Messed up policies
This is a perfect example of some incompetent people deciding what is “best” for general population. I cannot even say anything about the app because the idea behind this is so messed up. I had been a resident of Denmark for 3 years and went out of Denmark for work (Danish approved) and when I come back, I am locked out of my bank account. Closest appointment available is 1 month!!! How the hell am I going to buy groceries? In-effin-competent people. Hope you rot!
Worst app
I am trying to activate my mitid for last 6 months and everytime it reports error after the face scanned successfully and when I provide user id. Bad luck is that I am not in Denmark and I don’t have other option to reactive my mitid. Due to this, I am unable to get my extra tax refund.
