nGeneHome brings direct Philips Hue lighting control and practical HomeKit camera tools to iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
PHILIPS HUE LIGHTING
• Connect directly to a compatible Hue Bridge on the local network
• Follow guided pairing with the Bridge's physical button
• Search for powered bulbs without scanning each bulb
• Select one or more bulbs and use a shared set of controls

Direct Hue control does not require adding the Bridge or bulbs to Apple Home.

PRIVACY AND DEMO MODE
HomeKit accessories are accessed through Apple's HomeKit framework. Direct Hue commands are sent to the Bridge over the local network, and saved Bridge credentials are stored in Keychain.
Camera previews may start when the camera detail opens, depending on settings. nGeneHome does not continuously record video. Exporting a snapshot to a file requires an explicit action.
No nGeneHome account or subscription is required. Demo Mode presents clearly labeled fictional camera, motion, and diagnostic information without requiring physical accessories.
REQUIREMENTS
• Direct Hue control requires a compatible Hue Bridge, supported bulbs, Local Network access, and a device that can reach the Bridge on the local network. Bluetooth-only bulb control is not supported.
• Sharing a Hue connection requires the same Apple Account and iCloud Passwords & Keychain enabled on each device. Each device must also be able to reach the Bridge locally.
• HomeKit features require a configured Apple Home and compatible accessories.
• Available controls and camera features depend on the accessory model, platform, permissions, and supported services.
