- New: Page Zoom Lock. The page number indicator now displays the canvas's zoom percentage and can be configured to appear in different corners of the screen.
- New: Ruler Units. Option to choose ruler units in either centimeters or inches.
- New: Actions to add or change the notebook cover. The notebook cover can be changed directly in the library without opening the notebook.
- New: Option to place the zoom and ruler toggle button on the left side.
- Changed: Ruler and zoom toggle buttons have been moved from the second tab to the first tab in the More Settings view.

Ratings and Reviews
Excellent app but still room for improvement.
I have been using Goodnotes ever since I have been using iPad. No complains there but this app has great handwriting support. It does something which Goodnotes doesn’t. It is so smooth and somehow makes writing pleasurable. I have rated 5 star because I want this to be improved even further. The palm support of the app slightly an issue. Sometimes it zooms itself automatically and similar palm rejection issues. Not always but when it happens it is frustrating. Finally a big thank you to developers for bringing such a good competition to the note taking market.
EDIT: Decreased a star after last update. The palm rejection thing has become worse. Please look after this issue. It is really bothering when pages just zoom in or out while writing.
“Noteful: A Solid Note-Taking App with Room for Improvement”
1.Simplicity and Ease of Use: Noteful is straightforward to start using, and its simplicity makes it a joy for note-taking. Users quickly become accustomed to its interface. 2.Layer Features for MCQ Practice: The layers feature in Noteful is a game-changer, especially during multiple-choice question (MCQ) practice sessions. Organizing content in layers enhances the overall experience. 3.Tape Features for Diagram Memorization: Noteful’s tape features are fantastic for diagram memorization. Whether annotating diagrams or adding context, the tape feature shines. 4.All-Rounder App Focused on Note Taking: Unlike other distracting apps, Noteful stays true to its purpose—note-taking. It caters to serious note-takers with excellent features. 5.The Downside: SEARCH FEATURE NEEDS MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT: Unfortunately, Noteful’s search feature falls short. Handwriting search is missing, and text search only shows lines with the searched word. An urgent upgrade to the search tool is necessary in 2024. Overall, Noteful is a fantastic app for note-taking, but addressing the search limitations would make it even better! 📝🚀
Overall a nice product but lacks some basic stuff
This was my 1st note app that I tried and after this I also tried many other app but this stands out, even though it good some of the basic features that I would love to have which would make it even more useful and helpful at the same time. 1. One should be able to lock the size of the page while writing, this would help to get the same size of paper every time, may a times it happens that while writing the page automatically get zoomed in or out. Locking the size of the page would solve the issue. 2. Secondly I always miss the Freeform page that Nebo offers, Freeform page is good for mind-mapping and also it’s good for summarising things, and even in situations where we have to amend the contents, it’s easy and effective to adjust the content in Freeform page rather than notes page. 3. And thirdly, it would be great if cross platform are also available with cloud backup for easy mobility
