Finally! It becomes potent spreadsheet application once again!
“Categories” has been brought back in; that is the biggest news for the Numbers fan like me.
The functionality what is around almost 4 years back and then in one of the update was abruptly taken out. Rendering the application Camera look good application which made pretty tables and charts. It completely took away its seamless article capability.
I had two very grudgingly move to excel to get the analytical pieces into MS a spreadsheet application.
I really thank the entire apple application development team that they have brought it back.
I unsubscribed today from MS 365 package and have moved to numbers.
Now, it is the only spreadsheet application that allows you to manipulate data asking to pivot table, on a laptop as well as a tablet.
Brilliant stuff, I am delighted!
As an alternative to xls
Ive been using Microsoft excel for a long time now and it a utility that i am a big fan of, over time I’ve learned to use shortcuts and formula’s to a point where there are an integral part of work.
Numbers is not as flexible but it is a great way for a minor edit required version to be able on my iPad for when i have to review a sheet or make some minor edits. Its light supports almost all my formulas and it works well for a review process.
Note: there are some formulas that don’t work very well it is difficult to something make edits on formulas and if you have any multisheet lookup it will break the entire sheet instead of opening with last known data. For a mobile workflow it is ok.

Please provide an option for rotating text directly written in a cell at any angle......to make numbers app extra useful.......
We sometimes adjust it by using text box but it isn’t so much practical as in other iPadOS apps like WPS office or ms excel.... we expect far better than any other from you.... as you are from “Apple” the best one in the market.... so we expect something different and extraordinary from others
