Ratings and Reviews
Technology is great but process is archaic
The app is quite user friendly. You may need time to navigate around the various features to find your way, but you’ll get there eventually and with relative ease.
What annoys me most is their calls to remind you regarding bill payment. And they don’t wait till after the due date, this starts a few days before. It’s embarrassing, unnecessary and completely 1990s. Ooredoo has a certain amount as backup funds that can easily cover upto 2 months bill payment. Such a triggering practise; completely devoid of customer satisfaction knowledge.
Its a pain not an app
An app is for convenience, but Ooredoo app is a painful curse. Trust me, never seen a day when this Ooredoo app has worked seamlessly.
Few typical pain areas (list is long, but can’t type all):
1. Abrupt shutdown of the app. You almost always need to reopen the app and relogin.
2. Most of the time you can’t see your account once you do proper login for full access. Your account will vanish.
3. Your credit balance get deducted without any reasons, even if you have enough balance to your Flexi points and Ample data in your account.
4. Payment attempts never go through if you pay more than 3 times in a day. 4th time onwards not even a single transaction will be through.
5. Flexi Card and Flexi Pack is so poorly named. They have nowhere written what is the difference between these two. They never write full or clear product names everywhere. Customers confused and they loose.
6. Term and conditions are not defined properly.
7. Term/conditions says something and the app behaves in some different ways. So whom to trust the app or the terms or your luck on hit and try basis?
... sorry! Typed a lot. Can’t type more... tired.
Upgrade the outlook towards modernity
The company needs to focus on the latest developments and overseas counterparts like etisalat who integrates modern technology to the best customer service experience. The support systems should amaze us , but ooredoo as a whole is still a decade backward whether it be from their basic prepaid plans. No daily weekly offers for customers for individual customers.
