Pencilera is an innovate solution to a problem we all have when taking group photos away from your iPad: having to set timers again and again to get the perfect shot.
Taking advantage of the sensors on the Apple Pencil 2 and Apple Pencil Pro, Pencilera lets you capture the right moment simply by double tapping on your Apple Pencil's stem or by squeezing it. It effectively turns your Apple Pencil into a Camera Remote.
Pencilera was also built entirely on iPad, using Swift Playgrounds!

Version 2.0
Introducing Pencilera 2.0 - Yep, we're jumping straight to 2.
Pencilera has been re-built from the ground up, to enable noticeable performance improvements, introduce new features, and to facilitate future updates.
- Pencilera now supports the M4 iPad Pro models. We're sorry for M4 iPad Pro users who previously had a poor experience with photos not being saved to their photo library, this has been fixed and thoroughly tested.
- Introducing Remote Camera Flip: On Apple Pencil Pro, you can now assign either gesture to switch the camera instead of assigning the same action to both.
- Pencilera now lets you switch between the ultra-wide and wide lenses on your iPad, instead of being locked to the default
- You can also now zoom into subjects via Pencilera!
- Support for Flash has been added, choose between three options: Off, On, Auto
- Instead of seeing an unhelpful blank screen when you deny access, you'll be greeted with useful instructions on how to get started.
- Bug fixes, performance improvements, interface enhancements.
