Pathetic customer service

I ordered 4-5 furniture items. None of them was delivered on time and the carpenter is scheduled 24 hours post furniture delivery, which means your furniture will be lying idly. The carpenter also wont come on time. You can expect some delay. Furthermore i ordered a mattress which was smaller than my bed since the app popped up the same after i had made the queen sized bed purchase. I assumed that the app was smart enough to suggest the mattress with the right dimensions for me. Thought i was willing to buy another one from pepperfry itself they weren’t willing to take back the smaller mattress since it had exceeded the return time period. Until the bed was assembled I didn’t get to know that the mattress size was inaccurate. Had the bed been delivered on time i wouldnt have faced this problem. The team could have made an exception and replaced the mattress but they failed to do so. Though I understand that you have some policies to follow but that shouldn’t mean genuine issues must be overlooked. I will refrain from recommending pepperfry to anyone.

Fake commitment Fake brand

As Rakhi sale is going on with 50 percent discount +20percent cash back scheme, I have ordered classic xxxl bean bag of rs 2000 in 22 July 2020 from Pepperfry first time. They credit 390 rs as a 20 percent cash back scheme in my Pepperfry wallet with the expiry of 29 July 2020 . When I purchase another item and want to use this wallet amount before expiry, I am not able to use that. I called customer service and she told me like currently Rakhi discount is going on all products so I can’t use this wallet amount in any product of pepperfry till 3 June 2020. Then I told her like why you are giving this amount in my wallet with such a short expiry date if I am not able to use that. Then she sorry to me and drop call. Wow what the fake brand is. Firstly they itself gave offer of 20 percent cashback and credit amount in my pepperfry wallet with such a short expiry date with condition that I am not able to use within that expiry date. I delete this app now and make sure the product I ordered will be the first and the last order from pepperfry. FAKE BRAND. I discussed this within my friends and relatives and they also not going to buy any product from this fake site. I am posting this review so that please don’t fool ur self go to other site for shopping at least the sites which is not fake

Pathetic Platform, inefficient user interface, long delivery timings and no Cancellations available at any cost. And final nail in the coffin is they don’t refund your money once they take it, if lucky you might only get it back in wallet credit. I have removed this app and never gonna use in this life. In a world where Amazons and Flipkart provide same products with faster delivery and unconditional refunds, I don’t understand how people can be stupid enough to buy from here. Then I myself got trapped by them when I tried to buy a 900 INR centre table and they provided delivery slot 20 days after purchase date and no cancellation. I have never felt so helpless as I could not believe that a big corporate will do such a thing. They are saying you should have read our policy “no cancellation at any cost” and you should have checked delivery date “well it was in small font at the bottom conveniently missable”. This is face of a monstrous brand and their customer service who is insensitive enough to bluntly refuse cancellation even as a exceptional case but also refuse to connect to their superiors. Go to hell, pepperfry. You should have realised that customers are not your servant and you are nothing without us. You descent has begun.
