I recently purchased a term insurance from Policy Bazaar (PB). And the journey has been nothing but a stressful to-do list: 1. The height was mistakenly entered by the representative. To get that changed I myself had to call PB. The representative informed me that they have forwarded the request but then the PB’s mailing system is a different world to understand. They will keep mailing me randomly requesting “Please upload the document for policy changes” without mentioning what document. I will have to call PB and then come to know that it is nothing to worry about. I uploaded the document thrice on their app and even WhatsApped them but still today one of my documents got rejected. Why? Because PB’s representative uploaded PAN card as age proof, despite already having my Aadhar card. 2. The medical exam. Till date my medical has not been scheduled and that’s fine with me as long as I don not receive random calls stating that we are scheduling your medical for tomorrow, please be available. Only to realise that this tomorrow passes away soon and I have wasted one of my holidays waiting for the medical guy. Whenever I call them for anything they are like ‘We are working on your medical’. I don’t know how will you help my family get a claim of my term insurance if you cannot help me buy one. Believe me this is not a fake review, I do have a policy pending with you for this buying. And I also wanted to buy health insurance for me, my sisters and my parents. But rest assured I’ll never buy these 5 policies from you. Thank you for the greatly disappointing service.

I had a terrible experience with Policybazaar’s car insurance service. I decided to try purchasing car insurance online through their platform this year, but I deeply regret my decision. From the beginning, I had doubts about whether they would provide me with the right policy or offer proper support. Unfortunately, my fears were confirmed. Within a minute of purchasing the policy, I noticed a critical issue—the agent who sold me the policy had added the wrong car model. When I contacted their support team, instead of addressing their mistake promptly, they asked me to upload documents and my RC, stating it would take 10 days to update the details. To make matters worse, they charged me an additional fee to correct the car model, even though it was entirely their agent’s fault. This experience wasted 3-4 hours of my time, and the entire process was both frustrating and unprofessional. Their so-called customer support is misleading, and all their claims about excellent service and reviews appear fake. I strongly advise others to avoid Policybazaar and instead visit a nearby branch of a reliable insurer to purchase policies. This online service is unreliable, poorly managed, and not worth the headache.
