Procreate Dreams 4+

I literally love this app! Everything is just so perfect, the ui is so simple and precise. I switched from adobe fresco to procreate dreams so, I think that I made a reallyyyyyy BIG upgrade. There’s still some issues that I wanted to share, i.e.-
Whenever we draw a shape like circle, it’s obvious that we can’t make a perfect one so whenever we try to draw the circle and hold it then, it just become a perfect one, we can make ovals, square, rectangle and many more shapes! I would Ike to recommended the developer to add that feature to make our tasks easy.

Procreate Dreams: A Beautiful App with Big Gaps

Procreate Dreams brings powerful tools and a gorgeous UI to iPad animation, but under its polished surface, several serious limitations hold it back for professionals and traditional animators alike.

What Holds It Back:
• No True Onion Skinning: Unlike traditional animation tools, it lacks classic frame-by-frame onion-skinning, making fluid, hand-drawn animation more difficult than it should be.
• No Vector Support: All drawings are raster-based. This means scaling your work risks pixelation—no clean vectors or resolution independence.
• No Bone Rigging or Tweening: Dreams offers no puppet tools, bone rigging, or smart tweening. Character animation must be done manually, frame by frame.
• Confusing Group System: Its nested timeline and clip groupings, while powerful, can be unintuitive—especially for users expecting the simplicity of Procreate.
• Export & Compatibility Limits: Export options are limited. No alpha channels, no project interoperability with other software, and restricted video/audio control.
• Missing Sound & Scripting Tools: There’s no way to add timeline markers, sync closely with audio, or automate repetitive tasks with scripts.

Bottom line:
Procreate Dreams is beautiful, but not yet a full replacement for serious animation software. It shines in expressive, visual storytelling—but for complex, professional pipelines, it’s still missing key features

This software has really versatile sectors to be impressed with though some of the basic features are missing hope will be available in future updates but I have found a BUG when I use apple pencil with hover enabled, dreams gets shut down (crashes) when I touch with the pencil tip at the beginning point (0 sec) of the tract on timeline sometimes.
Procreate Dreams team is requested to provide Character Rigging or Puppet Warp and Camera Parallax features. Please try to add these features.
