Using Punjab Agro - Kisan App, farmers can Geo tag their farms and can get specific updates for their farm i.e. Forecasting of infestation of pests & diseases, Weather Forecasting, Crop Health, Crop growth, Crop Calendar, Identification of stress in crop, Soil conditions, Contingency planning, Crop Suitability, Specific periodical crop advisories and regular agronomical as well salient sectors’ updates.

Punjab Agro - Kisan App enables farmers to have institutional support for all their problems being faced in farming. It supports farmer to be versed with each aspect of crops region wise i.e essential knowledge about crop varieties and their characteristics, seeds, best time for sowing /planting /transplanting, irrigation, crop spacing, requirement of specific fertilizer and its application, knowledge about interculture operations, weed management (weeding), control of plant diseases/insects/pests, crop harvesting etc. It also provides key information regarding agri-inputs and nearby accessibility for the same.
