RBL MyCard 4+

I don’t know how they got the license to operate. They keep harassing you if you make the payment on time. Their IVR is complicated and app is very bad. I made a payment through mobile app received the sms confirmation as well and the aap was also showing “paid”against my payment for few days. Suddenly that payment got transferred to my another card and I started getting payment reminders. They don’t reply to your emails and suddenly you get a call from collection agent. The funny part is I made the payment twice in order to ensure that while they resolve this issue I made another payment so that it should not impact my payment history . If someone gets hart attack because of these systems glitches only RBL should be responsible of making such a funny application. My amount was small only 3k that I paid but I am wondering if someone paid a huge amount and these kind of harassment done by any bank that person would definitely die of hart attack. I only had BP issues. I am sure because of such funny apps there is a sudden spike of heart attack cases in India. RBI should look into this. After all this when I checked the ratings of RBL bank it was 2 stars and I thought 2 is also very high. If they add negative ratings then they will get to know the correct ratings. Because I am also selecting 1 star but I want to select something negative.

After getting innumerous calls from the sales team to upgrade the card which I denied, I placed a request for address change. 2 months and several follow ups on address updation with customer care later, I decided to let them upgrade my card, assuming that the request would be updated before the processing of a credit card upgrade. But to not much surprise the credit card upgrade request was processed and delivered in less than a week while the address change didnot still happen. Calls with customer care were useless because nobody had a straight up answer and their systems were never working. Finally 2 weeks later somehow managed to get my address changed and the card was delivered again after a week. However, the said reward points was denied on the premise that I couldn’t make a transaction within 30 days from the date of the upgrade request. The exact same thing happened with my husband last year which I was not aware of. So basically they somehow manage to make money out of normal rule abiding customers and harrass them somehow. Worst customer service ever. Would sincerely advice to stay away from this bank.

First they nag the hell out of you to apply for a credit card by advertising a card that is entirely different from the one you are actually applying for. They claim that the card is an entirely lifetime free one. They will lure you in with the rewards and perks that card will entail. On asking what’s the catch, they will reply that this offer is only for a select few customers such as you. After you receive the actual card that is when you will realise the level of scam that this bank is shamelessly being a part of. None of the advertised perks will show up with the card documents and they have designed the app in such a way that the bonus reward points that comes with even the bogus card will never show up in the app. Every time you click on the rewards section, the message that “Something wrong has happened. Please try again later.” will pop up on your screen. I will proceed against them by registering a complaint with the ombudsman. These scamsters should stay off the market.
