Fair business
Love the way they evaluate and verify the reasons for each transfer. I wanted to make a transfer for a large amount and I provided all necessary documents to Remitly. I also requested a higher limit and they approved it. I love the way they handle customer requests instead of others who just simply block their account. Nice job Remitly!
Very bad in paper work and keep cancelling my money transfer
I have never seen such a worse customer support in any financial company like Remitly. They asked me address proof which has been submitted and then they say they don’t accept it. Just fool the people saying it’s a standard guidelines from Canadian federal bank. Customer support have absolutely no knowledge what they are talking about and with very attitude while talking to customers as of like customer is needy they don’t need customer. Really don’t know what is making them that superior attitude.
Secondly whenever I am trying to transfer money with high exchange rate my transfer is getting cancelled by saying your bank account information wrong and bank has declined but the same information being accepted while the rate of exchange is low. What a disgusting service 😡

Asking too much documents for sending money
I have been using different apps to send money from UAE to India for the past 4 years. However, this particular app is requesting excessive document proofs, especially address proof. In the UAE, most people reside in company accommodation, making it challenging to provide proof of address. Even bank statements with pin codes are not accepted by the app. Interestingly, in the UAE, address proof is not required for activities such as taking a loan or opening a bank account. This requirement is impractical for 99% of people in the UAE. I kindly request you to consider this feedback as a suggestion. This app is the only one in the UAE asking for address proof to send money.
