Amazing is the word to describe the app. Perfect and brilliant. So much better than other free apps. The landscape feature to get a realistic sense of the night sky is so well done. I applaud the accuracy (the exact device location and altitude) taken into account regardless of the location. The time-lapse of the sky is another amazing feature which even computes the upcoming night-sky. So contended with the app. Well done. Someday when I get a good stargazer I shall purchase the pro version.

Sky Safari is simply one of the best friggin' apps on my phone. As an amateur stargazer, I love how well this app gives me loaded information on stars and satellites. I particularly love tracking the ISS on this app and flaunt it to my peers when it flies by in the night sky.The only issue, however, that I've very recently started facing is that the compass view is now shaky/vibrating. I've un/re-installed the app to no avail. Is this a known issue?

This is the best thing ever made to help out amateur astronomers and casual observers alike for finding objects in the night sky. The interface is good and the database is pretty vast. Plus you get some interesting information for every object within the app itself.

- Watch live sessions with SkyCast. Follow another observer's session and see their captured images appear right alongside the sky chart.
- Rich image details. Each shared image now shows the target object's information, exposure, and total integration time in a redesigned detail view, with a full-screen viewing mode.
IMPROVEMENTS
- Added a new "Draw Full Length Lines" option for constellations, giving you more control over how constellation figures are drawn.
BUG FIXES
- Fixed constellation lines appearing dotted instead of solid after the 8.0.3 update.
- Fixed screens flashing white. Object information screens and other freshly-opened views no longer flicker white before appearing.
- Fixed satellite and comet data being merged, which caused satellites to plot incorrectly and only appear under "Show Comets."
- Fixed Calendar "View" downloads failing silently. SkySafari now alerts you if a linked SkySet or SkyList can't be downloaded.
- Fixed Date & Time edits drifting when crossing time zones or daylight-saving boundaries.
- Improved planet accuracy with corrected positions for Jupiter's moons and Saturn's moon Titan.
- Fixed rendering of imported KML data with long line features.
