Description
SMS Filter cleans up junk or spam SMSs by using a curated list of spam keywords across different categories. You can add your own block list of keywords or phone numbers to filter spam. If any SMSs have to be always allowed you can add specific keywords to the whitelist as well (like OTP, verification code etc)
SMS Filter is private and never sends any of your SMSs over the network.
How to enable SMS Filter
1. Open Settings App
2. Tap on Messages
3. Tap Unknown and Spam
4. Enable SMS Filter
SMS Filter is free to try for 2 weeks. Only after 2 weeks you will be charged for the annual plan. If you don’t like the service SMS filter provides you can cancel the subscription anytime before 2 weeks and you wont be charged. That said we really hope you like what SMS Filter provides so that you can block unwanted spam and junk SMS on your iPhone easily.

Just Okay
My first usage review after 3 days. Major issues.
1. Places alerts from my bank into spam folder in spite of whitelisting!
2. No way to add numbers or addresses from SMS application directly. Major pain.
Essential if you live in India
I bought this app after years of frustrating messages from bulk SMS companies. I receive around 25 messages per day, and there’s no way to block them or notify the TRAI about them (since they can’t block web based SMS messages).
While the messages still come in, they get filtered into a ‘blocked and spam’ category, and I don’t get notifications of those messages. You can customise the ‘block list’ to prevent SMSs containing certain words, yet allow important SMSs like banking or OTP information to pass through.
It’s a wonderful, simple app, and my life is better for it.

Whitelist doesn't work correctly
Tried all possible permutations and combinations with * etc. but some of the entries in Whitelist don't work while some do. Weird..!
Blacklist and default filtering is great though..!

If there any existing thread/message from the same sender, delete the thread first, and then new incoming messages will come in the right folder. Still any issues please write to us.
