Snapseed is one of my favorite photo editing apps because of its simplicity and powerful tools. However, adding a few advanced editing features would make it even better:• Brush-based area selection: Allow users to manually draw and select specific areas (especially useful with iPads and styluses) and apply adjustments like hue, saturation, color, brightness, etc., only to those selected regions.• Layers and blend modes: Adding layers with options such as Normal, Multiply, Screen, Overlay, and other blend modes would provide much greater creative control, similar to Photoshop.• Selective skin smoothing: When applying skin smoothing, include a brush/erase option so users can remove the effect from areas where they want to preserve texture.• Dodge and Burn tools: These would help users create more professional-looking portraits with precise light and shadow adjustments.• Improved Spotlight tool: Currently, Spotlight often brightens only the face, leaving the neck, hands, and body darker. It would be helpful to manually include additional areas in the effect.• Precision Healing tool: A more accurate healing tool with finer control would make retouching easier.• AI Background Correction: Similar to the intelligent background editing available on some smartphones, an AI-powered background correction and enhancement feature would be extremely useful.These additions would keep Snapseed easy to use while giving photographers and professional editors much more control over their edits.

I’ve been using this app for more than 8 years, I’ve been able to edit in different ways, can soften facial features, can increase saturation anywhere, my wedding photos came out bad due to poor lighting, i was able to correct everything using new tools.

Everything about this app is so good, I just miss one thing that is the ability to perform a gradient mask, if that was available in this app, I would leave using other apps and solely rely on this for editing the pictures from my phone!
