Best service in my locality, but the app could be better

Absolutely the best service in my locality. Doesn’t charge a huge delivery fee, there is no hidden fees like convenience etc.

The app could use some love though. I think there is something wrong in the cart logic. It doesn’t always happen, but sometimes when you add odd quantities of items, it shows as two items in the cart, and the numbers are wrong.

I have even seen the store cancelling extra quantities once, and I was provided refund for it.

Also, the splash screen sometimes takes too long to go away. Perhaps because it needs to load a lot of resources? The app could be lighter I guess. It just needs some love.

Keep up the good work regardless. I am never going back to swiggy/blinkit/zepto again. Thank you spencer for allowing customers to buy from your huge stock, within the comforts of their homes!

Looting money from people

Hi everyone, never buy any items from Spencer’s in online, if you are ordering better to order Cash On Delivery payment mode, Or else if you buy using online payment then Spencer’s management knows how to loot money from you.
My personal experience with Spencer’s is horrible. I have placed 4 orders in Spencer’s official online application and i paid using my debit card, initially order accepted and later they just cancelled my orders because products out off stock and didn’t refund my money back to my source account.
When I checked with store manager (MG road, Gurgoan) he simply said that they didn’t receive money from my bank that is the reason they canceled the order. But actual reason of cancelling my order is different as I mentioned above. Even though I have bank statement, these guys not believing me.
More over this Spencer’s customer care no dose not work anytime. That’s how the horrible service you will receive when you shop with Spencer’s.
My sincere request to all Indians is to by groceries in other online platforms which deliver the best products and services.

Extremely unprofessional !!

This happened thrice with me. I placed an order. Just an hour before delivery, the store calls up and says the items are out of stock. They asked me to cancel the order. The customer care no in the app is a non-existing no. However i got the number through the corporate website. When asked about this incident, they were cool about this. The response from customer care executive was that the physical stock in the store is never in sync with the system stock, so it is not guaranteed that what reflects in the app is actually available in there inventory. Secondly, once an user orders online, the items does not get reserved for delivery to the customer, so they are available for offline selling as well. What a pathetic delivery management and I don’t think that these guys actually bother about the supply chain management or know the basics of it !!

Waste of an app, delivery service and precious time. Can never match to any other delivery services !! Truly pathetic !!
