Low fps
App works greatly with windows 11
But it have major problem, it’s only running at 30 fps not in 60 I connected with my laptop’s thunderbolt 4 port but still it running at 30 fps
Btw it is very good in connection not any type of work we need to do connect lightning cable and it automatically works. It is very easy to use and make work faster.
Windows goes into bluescreen everytime I disconnect my ipad.
I’ve used many apps like Duet, etc. Let me tell you: This app is no doubt the best there is when it comes to doing a double monitor setup. It is almost lag free. Connects within a second. My duet experience was pretty horrible when it came to connection time. I would sometimes need to plug and unplug 10-15 times just to get it to connect to my ipad. So no doubt, this app is the best there is. However, my computer goes into bluescreen everytime I disconnect my ipad after a good session of monitor sharing using this app. It also lacks the ability to extend my current monitor (maybe because i’m on the free version and not the pro one. You can point this out if it is available in the pro version). Please tell me what to do to avoid bluescreens? I don’t want my computer to end up dead cuz of this app!!!
This Works like a Charm
Kudos to the Splashtop team for this amazing software which works better than the paid App.
I use Windows 10 and Windows 7 (which is a prehistoric 32 bit machine) and only Splashtop works on windows 7 32. Truly amazing. The paid app ( hefty $10 for the iPad app) does not even support win 7.
The only issue with the app (and I know all the apps in this category have this same issue) is the slight lag with the nouse control.
If Splashtop can work around this it will truly become the best application for converting your iPad into a veritable monitor.
Highly recommended !!!
