Yono Lite SBI is Mobile Banking Smart Phone application for SBI Customers in English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Odia, Assamese and Kashmiri languages.

Yono Lite is SBI’s retail internet banking based application for your smartphones. A safe, convenient and easy to use application with a host of features to help users manage your finances on the move.

Please complete the one time registration process to start using the application.

New Registration process:
- A message will be shown on the screen regarding initiating an SMS to +917208871299 from the mobile device for validating user's mobile number. Users has to send this app generated encrypted SMS manually. Users have an option to retry sending SMS to an alternate number 8422833333.
- Click on ‘Proceed’ button and an SMS containing a unique code will be sent from the device to a predefined number. Kindly note that for sending SMS will incur standard SMS charges as per your telecom SMS plan.
- On registration screen, please enter User Name and Password and click REGISTER button.
- Accept the Terms & Conditions for registration by selecting the check box and click ‘Ok’ button.
- An activation code will be sent to the registered mobile number. User has to complete the activation by inputting the Activation code in the app.
- User can now login to Yono Lite application.

- Enhanced security feature to bind one user with one device just by sending a SMS. Users have an option to retry sending SMS to an alternate number.
- During registration, User's registered mobile number will be validated by initiating an SMS to 7208871299 or 8422833333 from app and and user has to ensure the availability of registered mobile number in device. Users has to manually send this app generated encrypted SMS to initiate the registration.

Seamless app!

I have had the Yono lite version and I have almost never had any problem either signing in or transacting any amount through this app ever! The best mobile banking app in my wallet that lets me keep a tab on my transactions and other banking functions right at the tip of my fingers. Only ever so slightly I must have faced an issue with delayed OTP that too if it was under maintenance otherwise SBI has the best mobile banking and internet banking apps amongst all other public sector banks!
Also one can request chequebooks, get debit cards hotlisted or apply for a new one or even open an online fixed deposit that is easy to keep a focus on if If I am on the move. Definitely recommended!

Fantastic Transformation

This app has come a long way from what it was few years back. The app is void of any glitches that we are encountering in some of the private bank apps and I must say the backend management of the tech stack is phenomenal. Does a lot of things and really feel good to use it.

However, more upgrades needs to be implemented to ensure the app can manage more activities rather than fixing customers to go to the branch. The ICICI mobile app is the benchmark and I sincerely hope to see this app meeting those standards in the near term.

Sbi yono lite

Been using the APP. Since starting the app, fantastic one. with this APP could complete all my requirements without visiting the branch expect for cash deposits.
There are lots of improvements and new facilities added regularly which is making banking with SBI awesome.
Statements, transfers even transfer of account from my branch, adding billers, Managing Debit cards, opening of RD, FIXED DEPOSITS, online nominations , submission of 15 G are a few which are used by me

The one thing I find irritating is the downtime of the app for the maintenance which is some what nowadays regular feature, if it can be minimised better
