In Tempus Inceptum, meaning “time to take the initiative”, you take on the role as a tribal power. Seeking the prestige, glory and fortune of a noble leader, your entrepreneurial prowess will carry you on a course of colonisation and trade in order to expand your nation. Being a powerful leader is tough and, when things don’t go your way, unleash the annoyance of Tricks, upon your opponents, in order to tip the balance of power in your favour. But remember, what goes around usually always comes back round to you.

Randomly generated hex terrains so the game is never the same, twice,
Adjist the features of the terrain to create some interesting twists.
Buy and sell on the stock exchange to earn the riches required to be victorious.
compete against up to 3 AI-controlled opponents.
6 AI controlled factions: each with their own characteristics.
Play tricks against your opponent to alter the flow of the game; that should tee them off!
