Tennis Plus 4+

It has tendency to crash every now and then. Once it starts crashing then only option is to reinstall.

I have used this app for the last 3 months and I have mixed feelings about it. On the one hand I find it a very useful app for tracking my tennis activity (location, duration, number of steps, number of shots, etc.), which is the main reason why I keep using it. It provides a simple way to track your tennis activity with your apple watch. Also, the integration with Apple health is seamless.

On the other hand, a lot of the information in the app is useless, beginning with the average speed (which is obviously wrong in at least 50-60% of the cases), the shot identification (never detects serves or volleys, labels many shots incorrectly), and finally the “swing analyser” which I still cannot begin to understand, it is one of the worst UI I have ever seen and totally useless to understand your swing (a simple animation of the racket would greatly help, as I suggested to the developer 2 months ago to no avail).

Finally, there are several stability issues that have caused some loss data during the last months, and some bugs are still present in the app, which make it close suddenly.

My recommendation would be that if you want to track the general indicators that I described you should definetely purchase the app. But do not expect great tracking from it apart from backhand/forehand distinction, at least not for now.
