Love it, but one thing needs to change
I love the app. I love the articles. And I love reading about everything that’s football on The Athletic. However I like to read articles from the past as well. Articles that may have been written when I didn’t have a subscription to the app or articles that I missed. Can you please make it such that it shows more than 30 results when you search something? Especially when if you search about a player and articles show up that have nothing to do with that player but happen to mention his name in passing. It really dilutes the pool. Perhaps a “tags” like system shall work. Just make it so that you can see older articles. Thank you.
Amazing!
To put it simply, there is no place like The Athletic which combines trustworthy quality journalism and a great app experience. They’ve been making steady updates and it’s really nice to see them paying attention to the product. It would be nice if we could have a nice community here around the team we support because open forums on the internet (Twitter, blogs etc) tend to have a lot of junk. Sensible opinions are few and far in between, and The Athletic’s subscription naturally wards off those who are purely interested in juicy tabloid headlines. Loving the content and loving the app. Well worth the price of admission!
The Best Sports Media Outlet
Generally, I don’t have the time to write reviews due to my busy schedule. But got to give credit where it is due. The Athletic is by far and wide the best sports media outlet out there. Truly unparalleled.
Their long-form, short-form exemplary written articles brings about another news media outlet to mind that I enjoy reading a lot. Starts with an “At” - The Atlantic.
The coverage of The Athletic is simply jaw-dropping. The website and the app is minimalistic and intuitive.
It’s been a pleasure to have been a subscriber. Money well spent, oops, invested :)
