The Tribune is an Indian English-language daily newspaper published from Chandigarh, New Delhi, Jalandhar, Dehradun and Bathinda. It was founded on 2 February 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan), by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five persons as trustees. It is a major Indian newspaper with a worldwide circulation

Could be more better

No doubt u r best in North India, seriously no match or any other option. But the problem is the UI of your app & e-paper online as well which is pathetic. As a student if I a want to make digital notes then I cant even copy from the NP the words or images clips, etc. I can’t even tap or select a word if I want to search it on Google for its meaning or definition. There is an option for download in the online e-paper website but not in the app & also the download of a single page only not the full version of the paper, but still that is not a problem if u can provide us with option download of a single article or download option with merging of pages like if I want to download a specific article or some specific pages only not the whole page or whole paper. Please, add these features in your app & online e-paper website where users like me want to use your app only (W/o using any 3rd party app) for reading as well as note making & searching a word for definition i.e. paper in word format coz it is currently available for reading purpose only.

The Tribune

I have served this great paper for 30 years and retired in 2006 as Advertising Manager. The paper is unique in its character. It is run by a charitable trust comprising of 5 eminent citizens. It has no political affiliations. Major part of its profit is spent on the welfare of its staff and their families.
But very sorry to note that in present times, it is not doing very well ( financially) due to mismanagement and shortsightedness on the part of the board of Trustees . I pray that it achieves its past glory in times to come .

Tribune journalism

Good coverage & fearless too . People problems needs to be highlighted. We are having International Airport at Chandigarh (Mohali) but people have been deprived of this facility. Tribune need to press this point. Runway length have been increased but landing system is still not the latest one . It was expected from The Tribune to take this matter prominently so that international flights to England/Canada/USA start at the earliest.
