Your Instagram username and verification badge are reserved for you. Automatically follow the same accounts you follow on Instagram in a few taps, and discover new accounts too.

Spin up a new thread to express what's on your mind. This is your space to be yourself, and you control who can reply.
■ Connect with friends and your favorite creators
Jump to the replies to get in on the action and react to commentary, humor and insight from the creators you know and love. Find your community and connect with people who care about whatever it is you’re interested in.
■ Control the conversation
Customize your settings and use controls to manage who can see your content, reply to your threads, or mention you. Accounts you’ve blocked will carry over from Instagram, and we’re enforcing the same Community Guidelines to help ensure everyone interacts safely and authentically.

Till now we can say it’s just released right. So maybe it will come with bugs. I’m not find out anything yet, but there will be. Now this app is coming with limited options. In future they will add more features with more bugs. And then they will remove replace like notification icon add to story Icon.
Finally a good opponent for twitter?
A good start. Needs a lot of work.
I for one am glad to get rid of hashtags and other gaming stuff which Instagram and Facebook currently use. Let content be King rather than gaming or cheap tricks(like looping text reels to bloat views). But the app needs to have an image editor to crop/filter and what not. Being a subset of Instagram and not having image editing tools is kind of funny. Please also have a content moderation team to remove abusive trolls. Twitter deliberately let it myself become toxic and thus we chose Threads for a fresh start at Microblogging.
So full of bugs it could be a tropical forest
It looks nice ui wise. But the problem is that everytime I try to "write" a post or "reply" to someone else- the app immediately crashes. I tried so many times!! I uninstalled and then reinstalled the app so many times. Restarted my phone. All for nothing. During my millions of tries it actually let me write posts for a few minutes. I thought the problem is now gone somehow but when I opened the app again after a few minutes I was back to square one. Back in the buggy tropical rainforest. Please fix this. I really wanna use the app but it's impossible right now!
