Description
Simple calculator to facilitate the decision of the correct axis of the toric intraocular lens after cataract surgery in the case of an unacceptable residual refractive error.
In addition to providing the axis to which it should be rotated, it offers the final refraction after that rotation.
Finally, it allows rotating the lens so that the manifest refraction will appear for each position of the lens. This allows choosing more favorable situations if the difference is small, such as a vertical or horizontal axis, or an axis closer to the previous one if the estimated refraction is acceptable.
Currently available in Spanish, French, and English, based on the regional settings of the phone. This is a tool, and the responsibility lies solely with the surgeon making the decisions.
