Needs more work, but a good alternative

I needed a video player for some .rm files which did not play well in MPlayerX.
I was looking for an alternative for MPlayerX or VLC and this fits the bill

Here are some improvements required:
1. Assign custom keyboard shortcuts.
2. Prevent screensaver from running
3. Needs a matching theme for OS X Mavericks
4. Optimize interface elements for retina display (sharper fonts etc.)
5. Enter and exit full screen does not work well. It crashes sometimes
6. Hide mouse pointer when playing videos
7. Equalizer presets and reset options
