TricCam is a camera app which can trigger conventional Xenon photo flash through Tric flash trigger.

It saves photos in JPEG, TIFF and RAW (DNG) formats with manual controls, or using auto exposure feature to become a point-and-shoot camera.

* TIFF with LZW lossless compression
* RAW in DNG format

Manual control:
* ISO
* shutter speed (sync speed is limited)
* white balance

Focus:
* tap to focus
* lock focus
* manual focus
* LED torch as focus assist light

Flash Sync Speed:
iSight Camera (back)
* iPhone 5s, 6/6 Plus: 1/30 sec.
* iPhone 6s/6s Plus, SE, 7/7 Plus (both wide and telephoto): 1/45 sec.

FaceTime Camera (front)
* iPhone 5s, 6s/6s Plus, SE, 7/7 Plus: 1/30 sec.
* iPhone 6/6 Plus: 1/60 sec.

Other Features:

When taking a photo at low light conditions, you are not limited by iPhone's LED light anymore. For the first time, you can use speedlight or studio strobe for iPhone photography.

Test shot review

Cons :
1. Advanced options are hidden in Apple settings (but usually it’s almost a one time thing if always shot in manual mode, as I do)
2. Sync speed is to low for bright daylight shot (need a ND FILTER to cut down light)
3. No focus peaking.
Pros :
1. Support wireless transmitter to trigger multiple flash at once with one tricflash unit.
2. Easy simple user interface.
3. Capturing in RAW give better dynamic range and results (nothing new for advanced users)
4. Supports earphones triggers.
5. A great alternative to heavy camera and lens, if controlled correctly to give satisfactory quality and results on the move travel shots.

Will be testing the unit for a while now keeping aside my dslr and keep you all posted if something comes to mention.
P.S.: please introduce focus peaking , its gone help getting more predictable results 🙏🏼
