Get proactive alerts about events that have the potential to disrupt your trip, so you can modify your itinerary if needed and still enjoy your trip. Alerts may cover inclement weather, unplanned airport closures, protests or strikes, public health events and more. Enable these push notifications by toggling “Risks and Disruptions” to “On” within Settings.

Terrible letdown
The app was fantastic and was working perfectly when it was launched. In fact I had paid for the full version from day one if my memory is right. But in the last three or four months it’s a complete let down. No updates is happening And can’t update hotel bookings and flight details automatically

Significant basic issues in last 6/7 months
Guys, instead of adding useless new features, can you guys improve accuracy and stability (specially accuracy of capturing data from the forwarded booking confirmation emails) of the app ? I am a premium paid user and a frequent flyer and stay in hotels. When I forward flight tickets and hotel bookings email to the email id, you app invariably captures wrong information from the email. Basic issues are 1) many a time flight numbers are not captured correctly, I am entering those manually 2) if a 4 hours flight land in a different time zone, your app is not able to understand the correct time zone, so it showing a wrong duration of the the flight 3) basically all issues are related to how accurately you capture the data from the booking confirmation email, it is invariably wrong. THIS IS NOT WORTH A PAID APP ANYMORE. These things were working fine a year back.

Needs ratings, and nearby locations!
I really like TripIt and what would help is the ability to rate places you’ve been on the trip. For instance, if I went to a great restaurant or had a great tour, I’d like to be able to just favourite it with a star or a heart so that I can share just that part of the itinerary with a friend going to the same place.
Secondly, instead of making us type out the restaurant name - why not let us check in to a restaurant by location. I like to keep a full log of where we’ve been but rather than searching for the location by name, just let us find places nearby using location share and suggest one we can check into.
