Seamless Money Transfers from UK to India

Just wanted to share my experience with Vance, I’ve been using for more than 6 months now to send money from the UK to India. Plus, I haven’t had any problems with it at all - it’s been super smooth and hassle-free 😊

Terrible experience

My fund transfer is still pending after a week. First few will be delivered in minutes and any following ones will be stuck forever. Funds will be deducted from bank account but the app would still end up showing funds not received by partner bank. The chat support sends stupid automated messages stating that we really apologize and your money is secure with us. The issue is pin pointed to open banking all the time.

They do not provide contact number and you will have to escalate multiple times via chat for transfers to go through. Avoid if you want peace of mind.

Vance is not consistent

App has problems in logging in. Face ID does not work and it will throw errors like “forbidden”. I have been prompted to install the app again but after installing again it will not even give an option to choose the country. Quite surprising considering it is a fintech app and involves transaction. I am user based out of UAE but even now the problems have not been solved. Quite frustrating and the support is also very slow and inconsistent. Hope they can solve the basics with proper customer experience and Product Engineering. Otherwise there is no way they can improve. Thanks
