Description
As of September 15th, 2022, support for My Passport Wireless will be limited to critical security updates. To learn more, see the description of "Limited Updates" on our Product Support Lifecycle page.
Support for your My Cloud device has changed, and some devices are no longer supported with this app. We’ve developed a new OS to keep up with evolving security standards. Compatible devices must be Upgraded to My Cloud OS 5 by January 15, 2022. Incompatible devices will lose support on April 15, 2022, and need to use local access to manage your content. For more details, please visit https://www.westerndigital.com/mycloudupdates.
Functionalities with the My Passport Wireless products remain unchanged. You can continue to wirelessly access, organize and stream content from your phone or tablet using the My Passport Wireless app.
Note: The My Passport Wireless app requires a My Passport Wireless device to work (sold separately).

Bug in tool
Tool is good but there is some bug. I have WD 4TB personal cloud storage at home. When connecting from this tool and searching in video, music or photo if something is not found then it is giving error "no result found" but after that it is not showing any files or any search bar and not letting anything to search further. It is annoying and need to reboot the iPad to get it to original state. If an option to see multiple files in different tab is given then it will be excellent. Also if annotation/edit feature is provided for PDF and image files directly in your tool then it will be one of the best tool of iPad.
Lacks features and user interface
Being an OEM software much more is expected. This is just an average app that perhaps needs update to live up with the current trend.
Add shutdown option in the app, please
It’s nice app. Why don’t you bring the features in the computer dashboard into the app also? A shutdown option is a must, I feel. Now a days, people are increasingly using wireless streaming to mobile devices. Please make it a complete App.
