WiZ Connected 4+

I am updating my review after getting the bulb replaced. Everything works just as expected.
Keeping my initial review below, in case you experience similar issues, it’s the builb that’s faulty!

Spent about an hour trying to connect Phillips Wiz! It never detected bulb automatically. Manually I can add the bulb after multiple attempts and it gets listed. On Home Screen in the app there’s no way I can get to the bulb straight, I have to go to settings and from there I can go to the bulb and it does not stop there. I cannot control it as it keeps showing disconnected or grayed out. I was able to link it with Alexa but even in Alexa app it shows as disconnected. Every time I try to set it up, I have to create a new room and I could not find any option to delete the rooms.

Using this app for few hours, I couldn’t find an option to add scene where I could turn off/on multiple devices from different room in a single command. Would suggest to add this. Rest all good so far.

It took a huge toll and strain to connect a device. But it doesn't stop there, after all that struggles the real pain starts the connected device gets greyed out and becomes inaccessible. Just shows error of "Unable to control. the device is currently offline". Where my device is turned on and glowing.

To make it work I have to again go through the same pain taking process connecting but this time along with the pain of removing the device. The most non-user friendly award can go this app. Nothing is intuitive. After buying a smart light it works nothing more like a simple bulb. Waste of money.

From the WiZ V2, press on Settings, scroll down and click on Help Center and it will initiate a Live chat Support.
